RE:  CFS, AIA’s 2008-2009 SCHEDULE

Dear Members:

Welcome to our new website!  CFS, AIA member, Colleen Cleary, has graciously taken on the task of creating and managing our new website.  Many thanks to you, Colleen. 

As you know, in addition to our lineup of lectures (see attached schedule) this year, we have been at work with the Incentive Grant that was awarded to our society by AIA Headquarters.   This grant project, entitled Hands Across Time, includes a short film entitled: Hands of the Potter, and a ninety-second CFS, AIA promotional announcement entitled:     CFS, AIA: A Future for the Past.  These will be ready for distribution in October and November.

Our first lecture for the year is Dr. Donny George with his lecture, “The Looting of the Iraq Museum,” at Bush Auditorium, Rollins College, Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM.   We suggest that members arrive early, as this lecture will likely be crowded.
